In conversation with Hemanth S, Founder at Keyologic
What led you to the inception of Keyologic?
In early 2015, I was figuring out a solution for smooth entry to gated apartment complexes. I had a few bad experiences in visiting a few of them, but then it didn’t go forward as technology adoption was bit low at that point in time. In the meantime, I shifted my gears to workforce productivity solutions; and thus, the inception of Keyologic.
There are quite a handful of workforce productivity tracking tools in the market today. How is Keyologic different from them?
The majority of the tools in the market are tracking based on just time. In contrast, my tool will help clients to gauge workforce productivity based on the actual work. It was mainly built on three core principles.
- Simple – to use and operate
- Accurate – as it eliminates manual work by the teams within the organizations
- Resourceful – as it provides relevant information to management for taking key decisions
The main focus is on presenting outlier information, as we are already dealing with more than enough information, so we present minimum and actionable information for them to act upon.
Do you have any plans of spanning Keyologic’s offerings to verticals other than Construction and Hospitality?
Definitely. Recent challenges have given us new opportunities to move forward, to be more agile, flexible, and operate in new environments. Now more and more companies are accelerating their digital transformation journey to be relevant in current challenging times.
Tell us about the work culture at Keyologic.
An open mind helps to foster innovation. It is having a great influence on the work we do which keeps the environment challenging and exciting all the time.
How do you define success? What are the metrics you may use to measure it?
Adding new labels and renewals defines success. Stickiness to the solution to optimize their operations in day-to-day work is considered as key a metric.
Where do you see Keyologic in the next 5 years?
Optimistically, looking to be transformed as an innovative company by providing unique/customized solutions to the customers.
What new can your users expect from Keyologic in the coming years?
User experience is one thing I strongly believe and will be focusing on that in the coming years.
People already have too much information. So, my idea is to minimize that by presenting them with actionable information (outlier) so that they can make quick decisions.
How do you keep yourself motivated and updated?
Since this is my passion, it naturally keeps me motivated all the time. By observing the recent trends and how technology is changing the world to make it a better place.
If you weren’t building Keyologic, what would you be doing differently?
I would have been in a corporate job and would have been in sync with current trends.
Any piece of advice you would give to budding entrepreneurs?
Everyone has ideas, but unless it is put to action, it remains just as a mere idea. Believe in yourself.
