Reddit bills itself as the “front page of the internet” and they’re not wrong. There’s a community—or subreddit—for just about anything you can imagine.
If you’re wondering how to keep up with Reddit, Zapier can help. We’re a tool that helps you automate manual tasks between your favorite apps.
Whether you browse Reddit for fun, or you’re trying to build your brand’s presence on the site, we’ve gathered a few automated workflows—we call them Zaps—to help you stay on top of it.
You’ll need a Zapier account to use the workflows in this piece. If you don’t have an account yet, it’s free to get started.
Track brand mentions
If your business isn’t paying attention to Reddit, you should start. While most people associate Reddit with memes or trolls, it can also be a trusted source for reviews. Tack on “reddit” to any Google search and you’re guaranteed to find honest reviews from real people about products or services.
WIth a few Zaps, you can track what users are saying about your brand and see notifications in the apps you use the most.

Promote your content
Whether you’re a content creator, social media marketer, or business owner, if you’ve created something you think Reddit users will like, it’s worth sharing.
Be warned: Reddit users are known for being a skeptical bunch, so you can’t just jump into a subreddit and start promoting yourself. Many subreddits ban this kind of behavior. Once you’ve built up trust and goodwill, participating in the existing community, you can try these Zaps to automatically share your content with relevant subreddits.

Keep up with Reddit—without getting sucked in
It’s easy to get lost and spend hours on Reddit. Instead of writing this article, I spent the last 30 minutes checking Reddit book recommendations.
If you’re easily sidetracked like I am, you can use a Zap to send hot posts from your favorite subreddits to an RSS reader app or a bookmarking app.
Or maybe you don’t care and welcome the distractions. If you think Reddit is bad for productivity, wait until you get involved in a Discord community. (I speak only from experience.)
Some subreddits will spin off Discord servers to facilitate more free-flowing conversations. If you maintain a spinoff Discord server, you can use a workflow to ensure members are keeping up with what’s happening on Reddit.
Want to connect Reddit to an app that doesn’t have a Zapier integration? If it has the capability to use webhooks, you can use Zapier’s Webhooks—available on our paid plans—to connect your favorite app to Reddit.
New to Zapier? It’s a tool that helps anyone connect apps and automate workflows—without any complicated code. Sign up for free to use this app, and many others, with Zapier.
