The massive technological transformation in the past few decades has exposed human beings to vast information – it is unquestionably possible that human minds were not biologically ready to consume and process this volume of knowledge. While the technical sophistication introduced us to many gadgets and utilities to upgrade our way-of-living, the sudden change subjected us to mental-stress vulnerability. Fortunately, we have our tradition of wellness practices like ‘The Yoga’ and individuals like Namita Piparaiya who are willing to give up a lucrative career to upgrade people’s lifestyle.
Namita is a former banker who worked with some of the world’s largest financial institutions like Citibank, Aviva, and Generali. While working with big corporates, Namita was learning ways to handle stress and attain wellness. Additionally, she completed courses and attended workshops at numerous institutions like Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies, Cambridge Summer School, eCornell, The Himalayan Institute (USA), David Frawley’s American Institute of Vedic Studies, Chinmaya Mission, Indea Yoga, Paulie Zink (founder of Yin Yoga), and BNS Iyengar (Mysore). Having realized the high-importance of wellness in our lives and equipped with a comprehensive study of meditation at reputed institutions, Namita founded her own company ‘Yoganama Wellness’ in April 2017.
“I started Yoganama to bring together three pillars of mindful living under one roof and make them accessible and relevant to all. These are Yoga, Ayurveda, and Philosophy,” Namita told KenFolios.
‘Yoganama Wellness’, a Mumbai based company is bringing a blend of Yoga and Ayurveda to offer a variety of wellness services. Extending yoga beyond ‘Asanas’, the company is infusing Ayurveda Philosophy to train individuals to live a life aligned with nature.
